DTC MSM B0856-Dirty Battery Failure:

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The Memory Seat Module (MSM) is supplied battery voltage at connector C4 terminal B from the SEATS Circuit Breaker in the LH MaxiFuse(R) Block. This battery voltage supply is used to run the seat motors.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The dirty battery voltage falls out of range 9 volts to 15.5 volts.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE MIL/DTC
The dirty battery voltage is within a valid operating range during the last monitoring cycle.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
1. Check for battery for proper voltage.
2. If OK, Check CKT 742 (RED) for an open or short to ground.
