B1982 Source/Battery Voltage High - IPC

Circuit Description:
Battery voltage is supplied to the IPC at connector C1 terminal "A1" and "B1." While the IPC is "awake." The battery voltage at Connector C1 terminal "A1" and "B1" is measured every 300 ms.

DTC Will Set When:
Battery voltage measured at connector C1 terminal "A1" and "B1" is more than 15.5 volts for four monitoring cycles.

Action Taken (By IPC):
when DTC B1982 is current loss of Class 2 Serial Data DTCs will not be set.

Troubleshooting Hints
^ DTC B1982 may set if the vehicle is connected to a battery charger on "fast" or "boost" charge.
