Circuit Description
The PZM may command the Interior Lamps through a discrete output to the "Courtesy Lamps Relay." When the relay is energized it provides a ground for the interior lamps.

A short to ground will be tested for when Inadvertent Power is active and the "Interior Lamps" output is inactive and DTC B1971 is not current.

A short to battery will be tested for when Inadvertent Power is active and the "Interior Lamps" output is active and DTC B1971 is not current.

DTC Will set When:
The commanded state of the Interior Lamps does not match the feedback state.

Action Taken (By PZM):
The PZM will continue to command the requested state until the IPC revokes the request.

DTC Will Clear When:
The commanded state matches the feedback state.
