Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check RADIO for normal operation.
2. Visually check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block ANTENNA Fuse for an open.
3. If Power Antenna mast goes up or down part way, check mast for dirty or bent condition. If mast is dirty or bent, clean off dirt and straighten or replace mast. If mast is clean and straight, replace Antenna Motor.
4. If antenna retracts as soon as ignition switch is turned "OFF" (Radio "ON," doors not open), and vehicle is equipped with Retained Accessory Power (RAP), refer to diagnosis.
