Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD)
The Theft Deterrent System (when armed) is designed to deter vehicle theft by pulsing the horns and exterior lamps when an unauthorized vehicle entry is detected.An unauthorized entry can be any of the following:
^ Forced entry into the trunk.
^ The ignition switch is turned from the "LOCK" position.
^ When any door is opened.
