Power Antenna Care

Power antennas require periodic cleaning for proper performance, extended life, and appearance.

Clean
1. Turn the ignition and radio ON to raise the antenna mast to full extension.
2. Dampen a clean cloth with a grease cleaning solvent such as mineral spirits, rubbing alcohol, tar remover.
3. Wipe cloth over mast sections, removing any dirt (particularly at the mast section joints).
4. Turn the radio OFF and ON to retract and extend the antenna and repeat Steps 2 and 3.
