Brake Pedal Assy: Description and Operation
The TCC/
ABS switch and the Stoplamp/Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock
(BTSI) switch retainers are two different sizes. The TCC/ABS switch retainer (upper) being the larger size (5/8 inch diameter), and the Stoplamp/BTSI switch retainer (lower) being the smaller size (1/2 inch diameter). The brake pedal switch retainers have locating tabs in which the pointer tab of the retainer must point to the locating mark on the brake pedal switch bracket. The TCC/ABS switch retainer (upper) locating mark is at the 11 o'clock position and the Stoplamp/BTSI switch retainer (lower) mark is at the 5 o'clock position.
