Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

Brake Pedal Mounting:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Left hand sound insulator.
2. Remove central power supply and mounting bracket.
3. Upper pivot bolt.
4. Bushings and spacer.
5. Retainer and washer from pedal stud.
6. Disengage booster pushrod from pedal stud.
7. Pedal from car.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Position pedal in car.
2. Position booster pushrod on pedal.
3. Washer and retainer.
4. Bushings and spacer.
5. Upper pivot bolt. Tighten Pivot bolt to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
6. Central power supply and bracket.
7. Left hand sound insulator.
