Brake Fluid Reservoir Replacement
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT1. Master cylinder from vehicle.
2. Clamp flange on master cylinder body in vise. Do not clamp on master cylinder body.
DISASSEMBLE
Removing/Installing Spring Pins:

3. Drive out spring pins using suitable 1/8 inch punch. Use care not to damage reservoir or cylinder body when driving out pins.
4. Reservoir by pulling straight up, away from cylinder body.
5. 0-rings from grooves in reservoir. Inspect Reservoir for cracks or deformation. Replace if found. Clean Reservoir with clean denatured alcohol. Dry with unlubricated compressed air.
ASSEMBLE
NOTE: Lubricate new 0-rings and reservoir bayonets with clean brake fluid.
1. 0-rings into grooves in reservoir. Make sure 0-rings are properly seated.
Installing Reservoir:

2. Reservoir to master cylinder body by pressing straight down by hand into body.
3. Drive in spring pins to retain reservoir using care not to damage reservoir or cylinder body.
4. Master cylinder into vehicle.
