Coolant Reservoir: Service and Repair





REMOVAL
1. Drain the coolant.
2. Remove the upper filler panel.
3. Remove the cross vehicle brace. See Body and Frame.
4. Remove the battery.
5. Disconnect the surge tank hoses.
6. Remove the surge tank.
7. Transfer the coolant level sensor to the new surge tank.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the surge tank.
2. Connect the surge tank hoses.
3. Install the battery.
4. Install the cross vehicle brace. See Body and Frame.
5. Install the upper filler panel.
6. Refill the cooling system.
