REMOVAL 1.
Raise the vehicle.
2.
Support the intermediate pipe.
3.
Cut the intermediate pipe as close to the
muffler as the tool will permit.
4.
Remove the
muffler hanger and the muffler/tailpipe assembly.
INSTALLATION 1.
Install the
muffler and the hanger.
2.
Connect the
muffler to the intermediate pipe using a U-bolt clamp. Tighten the clamp nuts to
55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
