Chart 5 Rear Blower Speed Incorrect

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Power from fuse is applied to blower and ground is supplied through the switch. The blower speed is controlled by varying the circuit amperage using a series of three resistors contained in a module. The Air Conditioning Programmer (ACM) receives a feedback signal but has no effect on rear blower operation.

TEST DESCRIPTION
Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.
1. Checks for poor ground or poor feed circuit.
2. Checks if resistor module is faulty.
3. Defines a faulty circuit or faulty switch assembly.
