Fasten Belts Warning (Slow Chime)

When the LH front Seat Belt is unbuckled, cavity A8 of the Sensing And Diagnostic Module (SDM) is grounded through CKT 238 (BLK/WHT) by the LH front Seat Belt Switch. The SDM interprets this input and sends a Class 2 seatbelt status message when ever there is a change of state or at initial power up. The Body Control Module (PZM) interprets the seatbelt status message and then requests the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) to turn the seat belt telltale "ON" or "OFF" and, if required, requests the Radio (IPC) to turn the chime "ON" or "OFF."
