Key In Ignition Warning (Medium Chime)
When the Ignition Key is in the Ignition Lock Cylinder and is in "ACC," "LOCK," or "OFF," cavity B7 of the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) connector C2 is grounded through CKT 80 (LT GRN) by the Ignition Key Warning Switch. When cavity B7 is grounded and the IPC determines, by Class 2 serial data communications, that the LH front door is open, the IPC sends a Class 2 message requesting the Radio (IRC) to turn the chime "ON."When ground is removed from the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) connector C2 (Ignition Key removed) or the IPC determines, by Class 2 serial data communications, that the LH front Door has been closed, the IPC sends a Class 2 message requesting the Radio (IRC) to turn the chime "OFF."
