Trim Panel Replacement - Upper

Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel:

Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel (EL/KS):

Remove or Disconnect
1. Defroster grille using a small, flat-Bladed tool, prying upward.
2. Sunload and Headlamp Auto Control sensors from defroster grille.
3. Three screws retaining upper trim panel through defroster grille opening.
4. Four heat and A/C vents from front of I/P by releasing tab, inside vent and pulling out. (Use thin Blade tool, use care to not damage vent surfaces).
5. Four screws retaining upper trim panel through vent openings.
6. Upper trim panel. On passenger side of vehicle, press down on forward edge of trim panel while pulling upward and back on rear edge of trim panel (DeVille/Concours).
7. Upper trim panel. Pull upward and back on rear edge of trim panel (Eldorado/Seville).

Install or Connect
1. Position upper trim panel on top of I/P. Make sure sensors are through trim panel.
2. Four screws through Heat and A/C vent openings.
3. Heater and air conditioning vents by gently pushing into place.
4. Three screws through defroster grille opening.
5. Sunload and Headlamp Auto Control sensors to defroster grille.
6. Defroster grille by gently pushing into place.
