Dynamic Parameters

The IPC Blanks the data portion of the following parameter displays prior to receipt of valid data:
^ Instantaneous Fuel
^ Fuel Level
^ Outside Air Temperature
^ Coolant Temperature
^ Oil Life Index
^ Range

The Digital IPC will dash all displays, except Vehicle Speed and Odometers, if the serial data link or state-of-health of all microprocessors is determined lost. Selective dashing of displays is indicative of an inability to communicate with only certain microprocessors on the link.

The Analog IPC will dash all DIC parameters and NOT drive Fuel Level and Coolant Temperature needles, if tile serial data link or state-of-health of all microprocessors is determined lost. Selective dashing or inoperative needles may be indicative of an inability to communicate with only certain microprocessors on the link.
