Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Functions

The IPC contains two microprocessors as part of the Instrument Panel Assembly. The IPC can recognize operational Malfunctions, alert the driver through indicators or Driver Information Center messages and store DTCs which identify Malfunction areas for the technician.

In order to perform all of these functions, the IPC microprocessor has its own inputs, outputs and program software.
