Vehicle Range/Drivable Range

Vehicle Range is calculated by the IPC as described below.

Drivable range = Distance Sum/Fuel Sum x scale Factor x Filtered Fuel in Tank.

Separate accumulators are kept for fuel consumed and for distance traveled. These accumulators are not operator resettable. Distance has a resolution of 0.1 miles. Fuel consumed has a resolution of 0.00005 liters. This portion of the IPC will be dashed if there is a loss of PCM or PZM communications.
