Fog/Driving Lamp: Adjustments

Fog Lamp Aiming:

For proper road illumination and safety the fog lamps do require aiming. Use the Following procedure to properly aim the fog lamps.

Using Figure 3 for reference place vehicle on a level surface 7.6 m (25 feet). from a wall or other flat surface.
1. Mark the horizontal centerline of the fog lamp on the flat surface directly in front of the vehicle.
^ Measure from the floor to the centerline on the fog lamp.
^ Transfer measurement to the flat aiming surface.
2. Turn fog lamps on. Adjust the fog lamp so that the top edge of the beam pattern is 100 mm (4 inch) below the horizontal centerline.
3. Repeat this procedure for the other fog lamp.
