Twilight Photocell

The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) monitors ambient light conditions through the Twilight Photocell. The Twilight Photocell is a variable resistor whose resistance changes as the ambient light level around it changes. As ambient light decreases the resistance of the Twilight Photocell increases. The value of the input voltage will be between 0 and 5 volts. The voltage level at IPC connector C3 terminal D14 increases as the Twilight Photocell resistance increases.
