EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid

Removal Procedure

Notice: Numbers in text correspond to numbered components in image.

1. Remove the intake manifold top cover.
2. Remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid connector (1).
3. Remove the canister purge solenoid vacuum lines.
4. Remove the canister purge (2) solenoid valve bolt.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the canister purge solenoid (2) valve bolt. Tighten the bolt to 12 Nm (106 in lb).
2. Install the canister purge solenoid vacuum lines.
3. Install the EVAP canister purge solenoid connector (1).
4. Install the bolt.
5. Install the intake manifold top cover. Tighten the bolt to 2 Nm (18 in lb).
