Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

EVAP Canister:

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle.

Important: Mark the hoses to install on the canister

2. Remove the hoses from the canister.

3. Remove canister bolt.

4. Remove canister from the bracket.

Installation Procedure
1. Install canister on bracket

2. Install canister bolt. Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Install the hoses on the canister.

4. Lower the vehicle.
