Throttle Body Spacer Installation

Installation Procedure

Notice: Numbers in text correspond to numbered components in image.

Throttle Body Service:

1. Install the throttle body spacer (3). Tighten the throttle body spacer attaching bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

EGR Pipe Service:

2. Install the EGR pipe to the throttle body spacer. Tighten the EGR pipe bolt to 28 Nm (21 lb ft).

3. Install the crankcase ventilation pipe at the throttle body spacer.

4. Install the new gasket (2) and throttle body (1). Refer to Throttle Body / Service and Repair. Tighten the throttle body attaching bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

Transaxle Vent Hose:

5. Install the transaxle vent hose to clip.

Air Cleaner Housing:

6. Install the air intake duct.

7. Install the negative battery cable.
