Lateral Accelerometer: Description and Operation
Lateral Accelerometer:
The
Lateral Accelerometer is a self contained unit which uses a reference voltage of 5 volts. The sensor's operating range is ± 1.5G, resulting in an output range of 0.25 - 4.75 volts. Zero lateral acceleration results in an output signal of 2.5 volts. The Lateral Accelerometer is located under the front passenger seat, attached to the number two bar.
