Front

The front toothed sensor is an integral part of the front bearing assembly. The wheel speed sensor can be removed (replace sensor after removal) to allow for sensor ring inspection. If sensor replacement is required refer to front bearing service procedures.

Inspect

^ Inspect toothed sensor rings for missing or damaged teeth. Missing or damaged teeth can result in erratic sensor signals. Replace hub and bearing assembly if ring is damaged.

^ Toothed sensor rings should show no evidence of contact with the wheel speed sensor. If contact is observed, determine cause and correct.
