Pressure Hose Assembly

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Fluid from reservoir.
2. Pressure pipe from pump.
3. Pressure pipe retaining clip from engine block.
4. Raise vehicle on frame contact hoist.
5. Pressure switch connector.
6. Heat shield.
7. Plastic line retainer.
8. Pressure hose from steering gear.
9. Hose from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Position hose in vehicle
2. Pressure pipe fitting at steering gear.
^ Tighten pressure pipe at gear to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
3. Plastic line retainer.
4. Heat shield.
5. Pressure switch connector.
6. Pressure pipe retaining clip to engine block.
7. Lower vehicle.
8. Pressure pipe fitting at pump.
^ Tighten pressure pipe at pump to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
9. Fill and bleed power steering system.
