Return Hose - Gear to Cooler

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Fluid from reservoir.
2. Hose from cooler outlet.
3. Raise vehicle.

CAUTION: To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle at the opposite end from which components are being removed. This will reduce the possibility of the vehicle falling off the hoist.

4. Hose retention clip at front crossmember.
5. Pipe from clip on side rail.
6. Return pipe fitting from rack and pinion.
7. Hose from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Position return hose assembly in the vehicle.
2. Return pipe fitting at rack and pinion gear. Tighten
^ Tighten return pipe fitting to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
3. Pipe into plastic clip on side rail.
4. Retention clip at front crossmember.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Hose to cooler outlet.
7. Fill and bleed power steering system.
