REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 1.
Pivot pin.

Lever from column.
INSTALL OR CONNECT 1.
Position lever on column. Be sure that tang on lever engages spring in column.

Pivot pin.

After lever is installed, check operation of lever for positive shift gate feel in all positions.
