Steering Wheel

^ Tool Required:
- J 1859-03 Steering Wheel Puller
- Or Equivalent

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

NOTICE: Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) coil assembly is easily damaged if correct tool is not used.

^ Disable the SIR system.

1. SIR inflator module.
2. Steering column shaft nut.
3. Steering wheel using a J 1859-03 Steering Wheel Puller.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
^ Feed coil assembly lead through slot in steering wheel.

1. Steering wheel to column shaft.
2. Column shaft nut.
^ Tighten shaft nut to 41 Nm (30 lb ft).
3. SIR inflator module.
4. Enable the SIR system.
