Front Steering Knuckle: Description and Operation
The
front steering knuckle is a machined aluminum casting, do not use a hammer to loosen
suspension components from the
steering knuckle. Suspension components attached to the steering knuckle (
ball joint/stud, strut damper) are made of steel and have special coatings to prevent corrosion.
