Front Suspension


^ Tool Required:
- J 6627-A Tie Rod Puller
- Or Equivalent
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and support with jackstand.
2. Tire and wheel assembly.
3. Brake caliper and mounting bracket.
4. Brake rotor.
5. Dust Shield.
6. Install J 6627-A and press stud out.
NOTICE: Always use the correct fastener in the correct location. When you replace a fastener, use ONLY the exact part number for that application. The manufacturer will call out those fasteners that require a replacement after removal. The manufacturer will also call out the fasteners that require thread lockers or thread sealant. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, do not use supplemental coatings (paints, greases, or other corrosion inhibitors) on threaded fasteners or fastener joint interfaces. Generally, such coatings adversely affect the fastener torque and the joint clamping force, and may damage the fastener. When you install fasteners, use the correct tightening sequence and specifications. Following these instructions can help you avoid damage to parts and systems.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New stud using washers and wheel nut.
2. Dust Shield.
3. Brake rotor.
4. Brake caliper and mounting bracket using new caliper mounting bolts.

5. Tire and wheel assembly.
^ Tighten wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower vehicle.
