Preliminary Information - TCC - 4T65-E Transaxle

In order to properly diagnose the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) system, perform the FUNCTIONAL CHECK PROCEDURE.

The TCC is applied by fluid pressure, which is controlled by a solenoid valve. This solenoid valve is located inside of the automatic transmission assembly.

The solenoid valve energizes or de-energizes by making or breaking an electrical circuit through the PCM and brake switch.
