Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
2. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,")
3. Check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block CONSOLE Fuse, if open check CKT 41 (BRN) for a short to ground.
4. Check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block HDLP WASH Fuse, if open check CKT 2140 (ORN) for a short to ground.
