Remove or Disconnect

Tool Required:
J 39232 Wiper Transmission Separator

1. A/C pipe shroud.
2. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
3. Negative battery cable.
4. Shroud air inlet grille panel.
5. Electrical connectors from wiper motor assembly (25).
6. Transmission drive link socket from wiper motor crank arm using J 39232.
7. A/C pipe shroud bracket from wheelhouse.
8. Three screws (26).
9. Wiper motor assembly (25), guiding crank arm through hole.

Install or Connect
Tool Required:
J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Wiper motor assembly (25), guiding crank arm through hole.
2. Three screws (26).

Tighten
^ Screws (26) to 9 N.m (80 lb. in.).

3. A/C shroud bracket on wheelhouse.
4. Transmission drive link socket to wiper motor crank arm ball using J 39529.
5. Electrical connectors to wiper motor assembly (25).
6. Shroud air inlet grille panel.
7. Negative battery cable.
8. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
9. A/C pipe shroud.
